How do I convert my document to a compatible file format?
For Instructions on how to convert text or image files to the required format, please see the Document Conversion page.
To which general area should I submit my paper for editing?
If you can't decide which of the seven general editing areas is most appropriate for your work, simply email us with the title and abstract of your paper and we will let you know which area is best for you.
Can I get multiple editors or reviewers?
You should not need multiple editors to edit the English in your document. One editor should be sufficient. As for reviewers, you may submit your paper to multiple reviewers. Many people like to get more than one perspective, just as is done in the peer review process. So feel free to submit to as many reviewers as you would like.
How do I contact Journal Prep?
Please see the Contact Us page for our contact information.
How do I become a peer reviewer?
If you would like to serve as a peer reviewer for Journal Prep, please forward your CV to hr@journalprep.com. Additional information can be found on the Become a Peer Reviewer page.
Can I be a client and a peer reviewer?

Absolutely. While you will be required to register separate accounts, peer reviewers can also be clients. Even if you are a peer reviewer, you can still benefit just the same as anyone else from a good external peer review or some polishing of English grammar.

Why do I need to convert my text or images to a different file type?

Text files need to be converted to .doc, .docx, .rtf or .txt format in order for our system to get an accurate word count when you upload your document for English editing or peer reviewing. Image files need to be in either .jpg, .png or .gif format in order to minimize upload time and maximize the number of images you can upload. Some other file types (ex. .tif) generally are very large and may cause upload delays.

Do you guarantee that my research paper will be accepted for publication?

No. Our English editors will ensure that your paper meets a high standard of English quality and our peer reviewers will offer comments about your work and constructive criticisms to help you improve your manuscript as a whole; however, we have no control of whether or not an academic journal accepts your work for publication. Our goal is simply to help you improve the quality of your paper prior to submission.

Do I have to pay to set up an account?

No. Setting up an account is absolutely free and can be done in less than 2 minutes. Simply click the "Create an account" link at the top right of the page to get started.
